Have you wanted to try clay pigeon shooting?
If you’ve never shot before
Clay pigeon shooting is an enjoyable outdoor country sport, but if you have never shot before it might seem difficult to start. We know that everyone has to start somewhere and that’s what we are here to help you with.
For your first shoot we will loan a suitable shotgun, provide safety equipment, supply cartridges and our expert tutor Pete Munn will be on-hand to make sure you are safe and enjoying clay pigeon shooting. For your first time shooting, we suggest 25-targets, but you can add more if required.
1-2-1 or group bookings are available for both weekdays and weekends. Most beginners sessions last around an hour per person. Give us a call to discuss the details of your first try at clay pigeon shooting.
If you have shot before, and want to refresh or improve your skills
If you have previously shot before, or want to improve your skills a 1-2-1 tuition session with Pete Munn will help you progress.
All sessions can include the loan of a suitable shotgun with cartridges or you can bring your own. Sessions include up to 25-targets in the price, but this can be increased for a small additional charge.
If you are an experienced shot, then maybe you want to hone your skills with specific targets. Since we have an extensive range of clay traps available we can help you improve with the targets that you find most challenging.
What should I bring to my tuition session?
Make sure you have stout shoes or boots and outdoor clothing. We usually carry on shooting if it starts to rain, so a waterproof and windproof jacket is a good idea too. Any guns and safety equipment you may have can also be brought with you too. We can supply cartridges if you need them.
